EFFECT Photonics
Together with Dr. Boudewijn Docter, Tim has founded EFFECT Photonics, an Eindhoven University of Technology spin-off specializing in the design and manufacture of Photonic Integrated Circuits-based solutions.
Entrepreneurship and Media
As an ambitious entrepreneur, Tim has appeared in several local and national publications and has been involved in pushing entrepreurial stimulation on the agenda of the Dutch Government. In 2011, Tim represented the Dutch student technology entrepreneurs in a meeting with Maxime Verhagen, Minister of Economic Affairs, and Halbe Zijlstra, State Secretary of Education.

Developed an RFID-enabled standalone indoor air quality module to support cleaning and teaching staff in Dutch primary schools
Photonics Research
Tim has worked under Prof. Meint. K. Smit and Prof. Michael J. Wale on the dynamics of ultra-fast tunable laser architectures and Photonic Integrated Circuits. Combined with expertise from Control Systems Tim has analyzed and built an industrially capable control platform for tunable laser devices.
ISG*ISARC 2012 Android App
Tim has developed the companion Android app for the 2012 ISG*ISARC Conference held in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. The application will be distributed among the thousands of conference participants and guide them through the events of the conference
